Meet Our Employees…
Dr. Brian Garrison, DDS
Dr. Garrison grew up on a grain farm in Richland County and is a graduate of Crestview High school, 1985. He attended The Ohio State University studying Microbiology as his undergraduate studies from 1985 to 1988. He then began dental school at The Ohio State University and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1992. He began practicing in Ashland, OH in the summer of 1992 and has remained here since. Dr. Garrison is a member of the American Dental Association and Ohio Dental Association. He enjoys getting to know patients and helping them make dental decisions that best fit their individual needs and desires.
In his spare time, Dr. Garrison enjoys cooking and doing all outdoor activities with his family. Brian and his wife, Jen, have been married since 1991. They have 3 children and two dogs, Bogey and Basil. Davis joined his father’s dental practice following graduation from Dental School in 2022, following in his father’s footsteps. Grace is a Human Resources Specialist at PepsiCo and helps her dad out on all things HR related for the practice. Ross is attending The Ohio State University and is currently on a pre-dental track.
Dr. Evan MacDonald, DDS
Dr. Evan MacDonald has worked with us since 2000. He practices general dentistry with a focus on endodontic treatments (root canals). He attended dental school at Georgetown University and graduated in 1985, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Before being employed here Dr. MacDonald worked at a solo practice for 13 years. In his spare time, he stays busy keeping up with his growing family!
Dr. Davis Garrison, DDS
Dr. Davis Garrison has been working at our practice since 2022. Davis grew up in Ashland, OH, graduating from Ashland High School. He attended The Ohio State University graduating with an undergraduate degree in Microbiology and a minor in Economics(2014-2018). Then continuing on to dental school, Davis attended The Ohio State University and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2022. He was awarded the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry Student Award of Merit upon graduation. Davis is excited to get to know all of the patients and join his father's practice!
Diane
Diane, the office manager at our practice has been employed here since 1996. She is a graduate of Hillsdale High School and has 40+ years of work experience in her job! The changes she’s seen over the years have been drastic; she worked when dentists and assistants didn’t even wear gloves. She is a vital part of our operations and keeps the office running smoothly. Outside of work, she and her husband love spending time with their seven grandchildren!
Kim
One of our office administrators, Kim, has worked at our practice since 1996. Kim graduated from Bowling Green State University. She enjoys interacting with our patients whether it be over the phone or in person and helping answer patients’ questions. She has 25+ years of experience in her field! Kim and her husband, Craig, have three children, five grandchildren, and three grand-dogs!
Caroline
Caroline, one of our office administrators, joined our office in 2017. She is a graduate of Hillsdale High School and has several years of experience in her position at a previous dental office. Caroline is often seen working at the front desk and answering patient calls. She enjoys working face to face with patients and helping them resolve any issues they may be experiencing! Outside of work, she likes spending time with her husband and 2 children, Brooks and Landry.
Missy
Missy joined our team in March 2020 and is Dr. Garrison’s Dental Assistant. She has over 19 years of experience in the dental field as both a dental assistant and an insurance coordinator. She is certified in nitrous sedation and dental radiology. She has a love and passion for dental assisting and is great at helping patients feel at ease while in the office. Outside of work she enjoys being outside, gardening, or doing various projects around the house. She loves to spend time camping and watching motocross with her husband, Ed, and family on the weekends.
Tracy
Tracy has primarily worked as Dr. MacDonald’s dental assistant since 2000. She attended Pioneer Joint Vocational School during her last 2 years of high school studying dental assisting prior to passing the Dental Assisting National Boards. She has over 23 years of experience in dental assisting and enjoys being able to help patients and get to know them as well! Outside of work she stays busy spending time with her three grandchildren and enjoys doing crafts of various kinds!
Becky
Becky joined our team as a dental hygienist in December 2016. She is a 1998 graduate of Lucas High School and attended Pioneer Career and Technology Center for medical/dental assisting her junior and senior years of high school. She received her degree in Dental Hygiene from Cuyahoga Community College in 2002. Becky is certified in nitrous sedation and studied local anesthesia at The Ohio State University and was board certified in 2015. Becky has over 23 years of experience in the dental field! When Becky is not at the office she enjoys spending time with her teenagers Chase and Charlee, reading, gardening and traveling.
Carmella
Carmella has worked at our practice as a dental hygienist since 2016. She earned her associate’s degree in dental hygiene at Raymond Walters College and University of Cincinnati (1980). Carmella has over 38 years of experience in her field working in Oberlin and Ashland. Carmella loves meeting new patients and reconnecting with past patients from her previous offices. In her spare time, she enjoys relaxing with her family at Charles Mill Lake and watching the AU Women’s Basketball team!
Mindy
Mindy has been a hygienist with us since 2015. She attended Lima Technical College and received her Registered Dental Hygienist degree. Mindy is also certified in administering nitrous sedation. She has over 34 years of experience in her field and loves taking care of her patients. Mindy thinks it is important to make dentistry fun for her patients while educating them at the same time! Outside of work she loves traveling with her husband and family, as well as going on hikes and spending time with friends.
Carman
Carmen is our newest dental assistant, joining us in 2022 as Dr. Davis Garrison’s assistant. She is a graduate of Mapleton High School and began dental assisting in 2019. She has always had a love and passion for dentistry as she grew up around the dental office her whole childhood. She enjoys being able to help patients and get to know them on a personal level. In her free time, she spends time at the lake enjoying being outdoors, fishing, and spending time with her family.
Lorna
Lorna has been with our practice as a dental hygienist since May 2021. She is a graduate of New Philadelphia High School and graduated from Shawnee State University with a degree in Dental Hygiene in 1988. Additionally, she studied local anesthesia at The Ohio State University and was board certified in 2015. Lorna has over 30 years of experience in the dental field and is excited to meet new patients and assist them in achieving the best possible level of dental health! In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, reading, and traveling.
